America 250: Centerville & Washington Township
A new exhibit at the Asahel Wright Museum, “Celebrating America 250 In Centerville and Washington Township,” is now OPEN.
Visitors will examine how our community has changed over each 50-year period since the nation's founding and how local celebrations have evolved. A special section of the exhibit showcases over 50 artifacts unearthed locally by metal detectorist Al Price. Notable artifacts include two quilts, items from two Revolutionary War veterans, and a Centennial coin. Celebrations highlighted include farmers' picnics, the Bicentennial, and the Ox Roast.
The GRAND OPENING will take place on Thursday, April 23rd, 2026 from 5-7 PM.
