A Sense of Winter Wonder

Snow has already fallen, temperatures are dropping, days are shorter…winter is officially here. Come in from the cold to visit our latest exhibit, A Sense of Winter Wonder.

Did you know that the winters of the late 1970’s are considered the worst ever in our local history? Discover what is a statistically “typical” southwestern Ohio winter.  Find out about blizzards from the 1900’s to the great Blizzard of 1978. Enjoy the many artifacts and heartwarming stories from Centerville and Washington Township.

A Sense of Winter Wonder is open now through mid-April, 12-4 PM Tuesday-Friday at the Asahel Wright House.

Quit hibernating, dig the car out of your driveway, grab your sled, lace up your skates…just get to the Asahel Wright House any way you can before spring comes and this frosty exhibit melts away.
